The easiest way to identify the iPad is by it's "A" model number. You can find it by doing the following:

1. Open the Settings app on your iPad

2. Go to General → About

3. Find the "Model Number" row, and click on it

4. You should now see a number beginning with "A". Enter the number below.

If you can't see your model number in settings, you might be able to find it by following these steps:

1. If you have a case on your iPad, take it off.

2. Turn the tablet over so that the screen is face-down and the Apple Logo is visible.

3. Look at the bottom of the tablet, just above the charging connector for the word "Model" followed by a number.

4. Enter that number below...

From the Apple TV Home screen, choose Settings → General → About and check the Model.

Use this information to find out which iMac you have, and where it fits in the history of iMac

1. Click "About This Mac" from the Apple menu in the upper-left corner of your screen

If you don’t have your Mac or it doesn’t start up, use one of these solutions instead:

1. Find the serial number printed on the underside of your Mac, near the regulatory markings

2. It’s also on the original packaging, next to a barcode label
